So THAT'S how it's done - finagling. If only I'd known, I might be the top programmer on Bill's payroll by now...
When I was a decorator we had a saying that elegantly covered the kludge. In essence, it went "Eff it, that'll do." And, invariably, it did. :D

Funny you should mention XML, I've just got RSS up and running on my site (well it would be running if I had perma-urls on the go) and I'm amazed how easy it is Hill. I can see why it's REALLY simple syndication lol. I shall watch whatever funky things you do with XML with interest...03 josh said on Wed Dec 31 23:00:01 EST
yeah - RSS is nifty -- the little boxes on my site are all RSS feeds that I finagled into action. This project, however, will require a top-down sorting of thousands of pages of data is ASCII file format into agreeable XML documents, and then some sort of middleman scripting to parse them all on request. I must say, though -- it might require a hardware upgrade - a simple directory listing of the RFC's spikes my CPU's to 95%. :| I spent a good part of tonight looking for someone who developed a DTD for me, and at this point, I am not sure if I have what I need. Should be interesting, though.

Finagle is such a great word. A lot of programming weenies call it something else, however; The kludge. -->
