I’ll be even more away than usual for Jesus’ B-day, so I hope – in accordance with his wishes no doubt – that you get a whole heap of electronic baubles made by godless Chinese peasants for handfuls of government rice. I’m pulling for an iPod Video, myself.
If you have family, I pray you’ll be able to stand them long enough to appreciate their existence. I know I’ll be trying my best to cope.

Not mine. My family sat around the non-denominational solstice tofurkey and thanked Mother Earth that, as said meatless lump had been absentmindedly left in the oven for 5+ hours, Tom's of Maine toothpaste has allowed us to keep our molars intact, without the guilt that comes with releasing propylene glycol into the water table.
I got a hemp sweater, three macramé anklets and a glycerin separator for my biodiesel Volkswagen Westfalia. And hugs. Lots of hugs.
(Actually I got new boots and beef jerky, and a very, very cool pro soldering iron setup I've been after for a year or so. And I drank beers while eating Russel Stover's finest confections -- an Estell tradition of sorts.)
